The Gospel

God created everything out of nothing, including you and me. His purpose in creation was to bring Himself glory and delight.

Humanity was made to love, obey, and enjoy God perfectly. This is how we reflect His image and fulfill our purpose.

But instead of worshiping our Creator, we have all sinned against Him, choosing rebellion over relationship. We have fallen short of His perfect standard.

Because God is holy and just, He has promised to judge sin with eternal death. Yet He is also full of mercy, love, and grace.

In His great mercy, God sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, who took on human flesh and lived a sinless life, perfectly loving, obeying, and enjoying the Father on our behalf.

At the cross, Jesus bore the full weight of God's wrath against sin. Though He was sinless, He was treated as a sinner, so that we, who are sinful, might be treated as righteous. Through His death, the justice of God was satisfied.

This great exchange becomes ours when we turn from sin and place our faith in Jesus Christ, trusting Him alone as our substitute. In that moment, God credits Christ’s righteousness to us and adopts us as His own children.

God proved that Christ’s sacrifice was accepted by raising Him from the dead, victorious over sin and death.

A day is coming when God will judge the world in righteousness. All who are not clothed in the righteousness of Christ will stand alone to face the eternal judgment their sins deserve.

Therefore, all must turn from sin and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. In Him alone is true forgiveness, new life, and eternal joy.
