LOCATION & DIRECTIONS

What can I expect?

What if I am not used to going to church?

You are the reason we started Tower View!. Tower View wants to be a comfortable place for those who are curious about God but have never felt comfortable in church.

We want Tower View to be a place where you can learn, apply, and wrestle with who God is and what He wants for you. It’s okay if you don’t have it all figured out yet.

What should I wear?

At Tower View, you’re welcome to wear whatever you’d like. Some wear ties others wear tattoos and we like it that way. There is no set dress code, although the attire is more on the casual side. Just be you.

What kind of people makeup Tower View?

What you’ll encounter when you attend Tower View is a diverse biblical community where people seek to know and love God, live in community with others, and transform the world by serving our city as we think Jesus would.

Practically speaking, that means the some of us are just checking out Christianity for the first time, while others have been in church their whole lives.

Tower View members span all different ethnicities, ages, and backgrounds. Everyone is welcome.

How long is a Tower View service?

Tower View has always been a place where we keep it very simple. It’s relaxed but focused. In total, a Tower View service is about 65 minutes in length.

We don’t need to be flashy or put on big productions for people to meet God. We believe that Jesus is enough. Here’s what you can expect during a typical worship gathering:

Singing

During the gathering, our worship team will lead us in a number of songs. Tower View strives to balance new, original music with some of the great hymns of our faith. Song lyrics are handed out on paper during this COVID time so you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable.

As we sing, our focus is not ourselves or the people around us, but telling Jesus how much we love Him. So, no matter what kind of voice you have, sing out with all of your heart!

After the music portion of service is complete, one of our pastors will come out to share an Gospel-centered, encouraging, and hope-filled message about Jesus.

Teaching

At Tower View, we believe that the Bible is God’s gift to us to show us who He is and what He’s done for us. Every week, Pastor Darin (and others through the year) teaches straight from the Bible in a way that is helpful and challenging.

If you don’t have a copy of the Bible with you, we will encourage you to listen closely. If you don’t own your own Bible, please take one of ours home as our gift to you.

Prayer

One of the greatest privileges we have as followers of Jesus is being able pray with boldness and confidence. We’ll pray together throughout our time.

And, if you would like to have someone pray for you, any of our pastors would be honored to pray with you after the worship gathering. You’ll find them up front, waiting to serve you.

Communion

Communion is something that Jesus began the night before he died as a way for his followers to remember and participate in his death on the cross.

At Tower View, we celebrate communion together once a month on rotating weeks each month after the message. Tower View welcomes all Christians who have repented of their sin and believed the Gospel, been baptized, and are members in good standing at their local church.

Giving

If you are our guest, please do not feel obligated to give anything financially. Please feel free to give as God leads you in one of offering plates during the offering song. Or, you may give online.

What's the culture like at Tower View Church?

Sunday's at Tower View are friendly, engaging, serious, and relaxed. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest.

What about my kids during worship service?

We believe that kids should enjoy learning about our great God at church every single week - and at Tower View Kids, we make this a priority. We want each child to know the truth about God, the Gospel, and want that means for them! Tower View is a family-friendly environment.

We believe that children are a blessing from God and are a vital part of every local church.

At this time, families are encouraged to worship together. We know that having kids in worship with us brings some extra “kid noise” with it – and we like it that way. We love having families with kids of all ages worshiping together with us!
