READ: Exodus 4-6; Galatians 6

Galatians 6:9 “And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.”

Today’s Thoughts…

This verse is for when you wish life had a fast-forward button, you know, like this pandemic.

About 99% of practical life fits in right there. Never give up. God is faithful. Doing good is exhausting. But we gladly accept it, for His sake, and keep going.

Living for Jesus in the power of the Holy Spirit doesn't mean we don't get tired. It means we don't give up, quit, or renounce him. Our tiredness and his power are wonderfully compatible. So, okay! We keep going!

Never quit. Never give up. You just don't know the Lord's next bold move. Wait on him.

Don't give up. Don't turn to broken cisterns. Don't give in to blaming others and disbelieving God. Collapse on Jesus. He is our only refuge

Today’s Prayer…

Father, supersize our patience today in exasperating circumstances and with irritating people. We want to be kind, like you. Father, give us patience, increase our gentleness, supersize our mercy, deepen our trust; fill us to overflowing with your grace and hope. Whatever lies ahead, we trust in you and you alone. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
