Today's Thoughts...
Titus 1:2 “in hope of eternal life, which God, who never lies, promised before the ages began.”
God can't do or be anything. He can't lie, be unjust, or be slightly less than sovereign. He can only do and be according to his character. So, THE question of our lives: "Does God love me? Or does God hate my guts?" The answer lies not in our experience but in the gospel (1 Cor. 15:1-8).
“God is not man that he should lie” (Numbers 23:19). "Forever, O Lord, your word is firmly fixed in the heavens" (Psalm 119:89). God's truth will outlast every man-made lie.

Today's Prayer...
Father, thank you that you are the God of truth. You have given us the truth – we deserve the worst for being rebellious sinners, but, at the cross, your Son took the wrath we deserve. The truth is, Lord, you are faithful in all your ways, even when we don’t see it or like what is before us. Thank you for being faithful when we are faithless. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
